Spring Equinox Restorative Yoga Sequence - 30 Min Yoga Class

Transition into the spring season with this 30-minute restorative yoga sequence to balance the dosha of kapha. The Spring Equinox brings with it an emphasis on earth and water, the two dominant elements which make up kapha. Too much expansion too quickly in spring can bring disharmony and destruction (think water), just like too much constriction or stability (think earth) can bring stagnation.

We'll open this yoga class with welcoming new possibilities for spring with Ushas Mudra, then make our way into restorative yoga poses with props sequenced for balance. May all the seeds you're planting bring forth the fruit you need when you need it.
